Greetings, YHS Class of 1972!
Kyle Repp (class of 1971) and I have been married for 39 years and live in Yankton. We have two daughters, Stacy (age 36) and Christine (age 31). Stacy and her husband, Jerold Ryken, live here in Yankton. She is a 7th grade math teacher at Yankton Middle School (our old high school). They have a daughter, Madison, who will be in first grade this fall. Christine and her husband, Clint Brockmoller, also live in Yankton. They have three children - Skyler who will be in 5th grade this fall...Tia, a 2nd grader, and McKenzie - age 3.
I was the Lincoln Elementary School librarian, retiring three years ago. It was a great job...loved being with the students and other faculty. Since I attended Lincoln School (K-5), it was fun being able to be back there again. Kyle is still crunching numbers and is a CPA with Williams & Company here in Yankton. He has been there for 39 years this fall...having stayed long enough to become one of the shareholders in their firm.
We are involved with activities at our church, Trinity Lutheran. I sing with the Praise Team and play bell in bell choir. One of the other family activities we enjoy is Lefse Fest in the fall. I never had even tasted it before marrying into a family with Norwegian heritage. Kyle is one of the "chief lefse rollers". Stacy and Christine can do it also and even the grandkids help out!
Now that we have grandkids, you'll find us camping again at Lewis & Clark Lake. Thank goodness, we have bunkbeds for 4 in the back of the camper! I enjoy reading, spending time with our family, biking, going to movies with Kyle, and love anything to do with the kitchen & gadgets. You'll find me tending to the yard and flowers during the summer months.
It's been fun helping put the reunion together...looking forward to seeing you!
